Lake Mansion
If you are looking for a beautiful, historic,
convenient and unique location for your next function, the Lake
Mansion might just be the place. It is one of the few buildings
available for public and private functions that is listed on
both the state and national registers of historic places. The
Lake Mansion is located in Reno's arts district, on the corner
of Court Street and Arlington Avenue, just south of the Truckee
River.
The Lake Mansion is a suitable venue for groups
of up to 150 people. The property consists of the Main Floor
of the mansion (5 event rooms, restroom and service kitchen),
the lower level Foundation Room (open contemporary space and
restroom) and the Garden Pavilion, (detached from the main building
approximately 800 square feet open floor plan, service sink
space and restroom) and a 15 space private parking lot. All
areas of the Lake Mansion are handicap accessible. The Lake
Mansion rentals are offered from 8:00 am until 12:00 midnight,
7 days a week, subject to availability.
The non-profit organization, VSA arts of Nevada
(formerly Very Special Arts Nevada), has made extensive interior
and exterior renovation over the last two years while maintaining
the mansion’s historic significance. Your rental of the
mansion assists in the maintenance of this community asset.

Main Level
The historic main level of the mansion features five rooms suitable
for event use - a dining/meeting room, four 'mingling' rooms
(originally a formal and family parlor, library and a bedroom),
service kitchen with oven and dishwasher, and accessible restroom.
Picturesque Victorian porches wrap this floor of the mansion
and add the perfect touch for an indoor/outdoor event.
Foundation Room/Lower Level
The lower level Foundation Room is a newer, more contemporary
space at the mansion. It is a large open space with a wet bar
area and a restroom.
NEW!! Garden Pavilion
Almost 1,000 square feet of space with its own restroom and
wet bar. This space features six sets of French doors, three
ceiling fans and a courtyard. The Pavilion is detached from
the main building, just steps south of the mansion.
Full Property Rental
The Full Property rental includes all three areas listed above.
The price represents a significant savings over renting each
area separately. Full Property rental also receives a discount
on additional hourly use fees. Maximum capacity 150 people.
